Hi,

I tried building something using geant and se. It fails, and it gives
an error message that:

File "xutility.bat" not found. Error(s) during 'compile_to_c'.

Is xutility a SE script?

'xutility' is the name of the program being compiled. It looks
like you are trying to run some tests from the Gobo package.
In order to use Gobo with SE 1.2r6, you should follow the same
steps as for SE 1.0 as explained in $GOBO/Release_notes.txt.

Ah, I see. That did it. Thanks!

Isn't it about time that that requirement was dropped? There's no way
we are going to be able to support SE 2.2, so why keep support for SE 2.1?

Yes, I had the same thought.
